Villa Terra Mia was born from a lifelong love of slow mornings, rustic beauty, and the soul-soothing rhythm of the Italian countryside.

Its founder, Isabella Conti, spent every childhood summer at her grandmother’s villa in the hills of Montepulciano, Italy. She remembers waking to the scent of rosemary in the breeze, the sun warming terracotta floors, and the comfort of homemade pastries shared at a long farmhouse table. When Isabella moved to the U.S. in her twenties to pursue a career in interior design, that feeling of home—simple, sun-drenched, and full of heart — never left her.

Years later, during a weekend getaway in Sonoma, Isabella found it: an old farmhouse nestled between olive trees and vineyards, with sunbaked walls and untapped charm. She knew instantly it was meant to become Villa Terra Mia.

Together with local artisans and a few Tuscan design tricks of her own, she transformed the property into a soulful retreat. From hand-painted tiles and vintage espresso makers to fresh herb gardens and antique wood beams, every inch is a tribute to the Italy she remembers.

Today, Isabella welcomes guests not just into her inn, but into a feeling of timelessness, warmth, and a slower, more beautiful way to live.
